My Counselling / Therapeutic Approach
My therapeutic approach is cognitive-behavioural. Cognitive-behaviour therapy (CBT) is a structured problem-focused approach based on the scientific understanding that the way we think, feel, and behave mutually influence each other. The aim of cognitive-behaviour therapy is to help people change unhealthy thought and behaviour patterns in order to improve emotional well-being & overall functioning.

The counselling process is a collaborative endeavour in which we work together to devise a mutually acceptable intervention plan. Thus, I welcome and very much encourage your input in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of your treatment.

My counselling approach tends to be short-term, problem-focused, and individually tailored, and I aim to meet the specific needs of each client in a warm and non-judgmental environment.
